Encouraging creatives to fearlessly follow CHRIST and lead others to Him.

Regular Meetings

Gatherings will be held every other Sunday at 1:00 PM after services. (Elementary Room) 

Next Meeting: Sunday, May 19th

Each meeting will include a topical discussion covering a wide range of themes and scripture passages that apply to living wisely as Christian artists in the world. We will also hold space for prayer and support during each meeting. We are open to suggestions, so let the group leadership know what you'd like to discuss or learn about.

We are also planning some incredible events, workshops, and other gatherings to enrich our experience. Stay tuned!

Our Vision

Creatives for Christ has three main focuses of ministry:

I. To hold bi-weekly meetings with focused, topical discussions to support, educate, and pray as a community.

II. To build collaborations within the group, including personal productions, exhibits, performances, and workshops/classes to be offered within the church.

III. To bring other artists and speakers to our church to inspire and amplify the work of Creatives for Christ, NewStory Church, and the community beyond.

Our Values

Creatives for Christ is accountable to five core values that are applied to encourage members, foster creativity, and build relationships...
Truth
  • We walk in the truth and lead others to the light by our example across many industries.
  • Psalm 15:2 - “The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart...”
  • Psalm 119:43 - “Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.”
Humility
  • Gifts come from God. Praise Him for it.
  • Hold each other and ourselves accountable. Accept responsibility for our actions and our community.
  • Don’t operate from a place of pride.
  • Hebrews 4:16 - “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Courage
  • Audience of one—for the Lord. The industry is our giant, but we serve a mighty God.
  • Don’t be afraid to acknowledge that our gifts come from God. We must declare it to the world!
  • Have the courage to share our vulnerabilities with God and others.
  • Joshua 10:25 - Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the Lord will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.”
Community
  • Matthew 18:20 - “ For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
  • Ecclesiastes 4:12 - “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
  • Resolve conflicts peacefully. Ephesians 4:26 - “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry...”
  • I Corinthians 12:27 - “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
Imagination
  • God is the source of all imagination.
  • Nothing is too big for God.
  • Bring emotion and desires to God. It’s okay to feel.
  • Ephesians 3:20 - “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us...”
