God Bless You

Scripture describes his people as a royal priesthood of all believers. This means you get to speak blessings and good words to those around you. How many people need to hear a good word from you? God has given you a authority to speak blessings in His name to others.

The prayer given to the people as they leave the assembly is called the benediction. The benediction is literally saying, “God bless you.” It is a very theologically rich practice and one that is prescribed for us to understand.
